chronicles of a boy called custard

here's a painting I'm working on, from a sketch doen last time I went to Allendale. The 2nd pic has the 2nd tree digitally removed, not sure whether to take it out of the painting. we'll see.

from the awethor of The Last Sandwich comes an unbelievable adventure of the boy names after a desert in North Shields:

WHAT'S FOR AFTERS? ; return of a boy called Custard.

Crash landing on a distant planet after mistaking an alien space ship for a modern toilet and trying but failing to wash his hands (tyif that wasn't a urinal what was it?) in the hyperdrive, Custard finds himself lost beneath the vast city if Gilli, threatened by a race or very annoying talking worms, Custard is rescued by a Space Cucumber, the beautiful but indecisive Taet Lett, drawn into an ancient but largely benign conflict between a race of intelligent Moles and the vicious but polite priesthood of UGg, Custard must now decide between the love for the increasingly irritating princess and his new found love fro the strangely appealing if largely disgusting cuisine of her avowed enemies the Bla Mons. Will Custard ever find his way home or even to a toilet he understand and which understand him, or will he spend the remainder of his lonely days asking anyone who will listen: What's For Afters?
